Been A While...

Sorry it's been so long since I have posted.  Been crazy busy with nursing school homework and such.  Had our first test today and I am sssooo upset with myself over it.  I studied all day yesterday for what?!?!  Absolutely NOTHING!!!!  Tonight, I'm taking a break from school work and such...will hit it again tomorrow.

ANGIE---I am sorry, I have not read any more of my book than what I started with.  I don't think I'm going to be able to finish competing in the contest thingy...ssooo sorry

Wall's Down.....

Well it's been a "dusty" couple of days here at the house.  For those of you that have been to our house.....there were 2 living rooms....Not any more, it's all one big living room now!!!  Jim has a few things left to do and then we will figure out carpet and paint, and it will be done!!  From there...we will move to the porch and get that set up how I want it to be set up :). 

Went out last night, for the first time in a LONG time.  It was a great time.  I was the DD for Sherry and her buds, but it's OK.  They all had a great time and they were safe!!!

The first week of school has been here and gone......still trying to take it all in, but I WILL make it through this LPN-RN program!!!  I'm trying to keep ahead on a few of my non-nrsg classes, so i can spend the majority of my time on my nursing classes!  Aaaannddd...on that note....Im off here to go study!

Spring Semester has begun.....

Although the spring semester started yesterday, I didn't have class until today.  I started my nursing classes and went through all of my other classes (well the ones listed online so far) and printed out the information that I need to get started.  My nursing class today was A LOT of information and quite overwhelming, but I am determined that this is what I want to do with my life and I....WILL....MAKE.....IT....THROUGH....THIS!!!!! 

I'm still continuing to pray for Treva and her family and friends.  I think of her and those beautiful boys daily.  And remember if you want to help but don't know how.....they are taking donations at a local bank!!

Well, back to the studies I must go.  Have a great evening everyone and be careful out there with all this snow!!!

Prayers and Thoughts.........

This week has turned out to not be a very good week.  Monday seemed to have such high promises and hopes for the week.  Tuesday morning was great...I got to work a few extra hours, which I really enjoyed.  I had an eye appointment at 130 on Tuesday, too.  But it's in between the extra shift and the eye appointment when the week turned in the other direction.  My heartfelt prayers and thoughts are still going out to the Morris and Bryan families (and the rest of the families too).  The next few days are probably going to be a few of the roughest to come.  I will continue to be there for you--Treva, Jacob, Noah, Crystal, Richie, Chelsey, Nick, Branson, Marlene, and the rest of the family.  All you have to do is tell me what you need!  May God continue to bless each one of you, especially over the next few days.  I love you guys!!!

Been a Few Days....

Well, it's been a few days since I posted a blog.  Sunday we spent time out and mom and dads, talking about wedding stuff and watching the Colts game.  We try not to stay gone too long because Bentlee does NOT do well in his cage.  I mean, he doesn't pee or poop in it, but he hates being in there.  Monday was the boys first day back to school and it was a day for just Sammie, Jim, and i.....we all laid around and were lazy most of the morning.  LOL, it was great!!!  Tuesday, I picked up a few extra hours at work in hte morning.  Then I had an eye appointment, i got myself some contacts.  In between work and my eye appointment, I had a text from a really good friend, Crystal letting me know that her sister in laws husband had been involved in an ATV accident and was being airlifted to indy.  Unfortunately, he did not make it due to head trauma.  The family all gathered at their grandmas house, so I made them dinner to take it to them.  I was glad that I could help out in anyway I could.  I would appreciate if all of my friends could please pray (or whatever it is you do) for the Morris family.  He left behind his wife and 2 little guys........The whole family is in my prayers and I love you all

Happy New Year

We didn't do a darn thing this New Year's Eve......just sat around the house, the kids played and we all watched TV.  I was ready to crash out by 1100 or so, but Sammie and I were working on making cookies in her Easy Bake Oven.  Once those were done, it felt like I was hit by a ton of bricks...I was beat for some reason.  I managed to stay up and awake so the kids could watch the ball drop and step outside to do our yearly routine of banging pots with spoons and yelling HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  Shortly after that, we were all snuggle warm in our beds!!! 

Today I had a wonderful visit with grandma, momma, and Jessica.  It was nice just to sit and chat with granny.  Love her!!  The day has been a wonderfully relaxing day, for the most part.  Trenton has apparently caught "the bug" from somewhere, somehow.  Hope he gets well soon and that none of us get it (yeah right, i know!!)
